About Mynet's Demontration Site

  Mynet is currently in its startup phase and needs a better server to host the platform as we prepare to go public and offer membership to anyone interested in joining. Right now, the demo works well enough to showcase Mynet’s concepts and features. Our offline server is great for development, but since it runs on a private PC, it lacks the storage space and bandwidth needed for a large online community. That’s why we need to secure an enterprise-level server that’s designed for the type of software Mynet uses.

  This demo is fairly easy to follow, by just clicking the buttons in the top-level navigation bar above.

Mynet offers a range of features to suit users’ needs, from an easy-to-use tool for posting updates on timelines and news feeds to a rich text editor for crafting website-quality articles for our news feeds. There’s also a dedicated business network feed called My Network. Plus, we have a magazine section where certain kinds of posts are showcased in a magazine-style format, giving our members content a polished presentation for social media audiences and the public. So, if a member is looking for public exposure and a following, this is the place to get it.

  Our members have their own editing desk and office for posting to My Magazine and their business network. This includes tools for note-taking; an events and appointments calendar, and reminders, where they can share public events or keep private date reminders and personal notes.

  Mynet also offers a dynamic platform for creative individuals in online streaming, broadcasting, and journalism, equipping them with tools to help boost user engagement with the content they share on our network.

  We believe this demo of Mynet will give visitors during this stage of our enterprise a clear view of the alternative vision and concept we offer in social media. It’s easy to see that Mynet is a more engaging network, packed with unique features and tools designed to help people have more fun and achieve success online.

  Please note that you cannot view the user's private news feed, however we have a snapshot that you can view, which is sort of a grainy photo and could be better. However, it suffices to demonstrate how the news feed looks, which is similar to other social media, but you can notice that we have options on posting to chosen feeds, and a My Editor's Desk feature for editing user's Magazine post.
