It’s great for PC users who get the full view, but the phone version is also colorful and appealing, and I am happy with how it looks.I think Mynet takes social media to the next level in the Twenty-First Century, making it a trendsetting platform that many will want to use for its improved way of presenting published content. For many, it will be the first time seeing their social media articles and posts in a website format, which can inspire them to keep creating and even consider starting their own website, maybe a WordPress site. With the site layout and its engaging networks and feeds, I also explored ways to offer more advertising opportunities for anyone interested in using Mynet in the future. I wanted to give them options for where to place ads across the network and provide more chances for visibility, rather than just competing for attention in the timeline news feed.Social media serves both personal communication and connection, as well as business purposes, for small businesses and for influencers and creative talent who have business with social media and content monetization. It should bring together all the different interests' people have in using it into the overall network concept. I believe I’ve done this well in envisioning what will be useful for everyone. Over time, with lessons learned and insights gained, Mynet will continue to improve, with developers adding features to make it even more valuable.First, we need to start generating income through this network so we can pay the developers when we decide to add a useful application. I’m confident that whatever I eventually bring to Mynet will be visionary—otherwise, I wouldn’t want it. It must serve a meaningful purpose that enhances both work and creat... Read more

About Our Phone Apps and Capabilities

https://www.mynet.social/view-post/about-our-phone-apps-and-capabilities

https://www.mynet.social/view-post/about-our-phone-apps-and-capabilities

Every social media site needs to work well on phones, whether Android or iPhone. This is made possible through responsive website design, where elements resize and menus adapt to fit smaller screens, and mobile ad spots appear as desktop ones disappear. As a web developer, you often find yourself resizing your browser on a PC to view the mobile layout and compare it with the desktop version. That’s just how it’s done. You can do the same here using your PC browser, and compare views to see how Mynet looks on Phone. In recent years, modern technology has introduced something called Progressive Web Technology, which transforms a website or network like ours into an online app by leveraging its responsive capabilities. Both phone and PC browsers can prompt us to install the site as an app, giving us instant access to it just like a native application. An app made from Progressive Web Technology is referred to as a progressive web app or PWA. The great thing about this is that it reduces the cost of developing phone apps. If you’re using Microsoft Edge on your PC, or another browser with PWA capability, you can install nearly any website as an app on your computer, organize all your apps in a folder, and easily find the site you need. On top of the cost of developing a phone app, developers often want to host it on their own servers and charge a hefty fee for it or sell the app to you for another steep price, like $5000. Thankfully, we don’t have to deal with that anymore. These expenses can be pretty overwhelming for someone starting a new business or venture. And you know how it is, everything you need for creating things and for working online doing business cost something. Furthermore, the cost of an app would be more than it cost to host Mynet on an enterprise server platform. And way more in fact. Well, our site has a PWA installed into it, via certain scripts that instruct browsers about the PWA and how to render it. Setting up a few PWA web files ... Read more
